Frisco Commons in Frisco TX - A place to get Wet

June 8th, 2010

As the temperature climbs to triple digits, Frisco residents seek out options to stay cool - and frequently, wet.  Frisco Commons Park on McKinney Rd, built in 2004, and updated with a new water feature, fits the bill nicely for a growing number of residents.  If you are looking at Frisco Real Estate you will enjoy Frisco Commons when you move here!

With the mercury at 98 degrees yesterday, Frisco Commons had a fun mix of kids taking advantage of this feature.  Everyone needs to find a way to stay cool in the Texas heat and Frisco Commons is a fun place to accomplish exactly that.

Frisco Commons  also has a Grand pavilion, large performing amphitheater, large fully stocked pond, veteran's memorial, Frisco's largest playground system, nature garden, picnic tables & benches, BBQ grills, restroom facility, and 1 mile of walking trails.
Awards: "2005 Park Design Excellence Award" by the Texas Recreation & Park Society, The Metroplex's Best Family Park,  by Dallas Child Magazine and the "2008 Facility Design Award - Class II" by the National Recreation amd Parks Association, Southwest Regional Council.
