Have You Heard of HAFA? Do You Qualify for a HAFA Short Sale? What is HAFA?

What in the world is HAFA?  From the CDPE website, www.CDPE.com

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TXx8rKy-Ow&feature=related

I love my CDPE designation!  The above video is one of the MANY reasons why.  Alex Charfen and other CDPEs really make a difficult process simple!

Clearly, CDPEs are THE real estate agents to go to if you or someone you know needs to sell a Short Sale property!  The banks know that selling a short sale is a hassle and, partly because of this, part of the HAFA program REQUIRES a distressed homeowner to seek the aid of a licensed real estate agent to sell their home.

A very misunderstood thing about Short Sale transactions is that THE BANK pays my commission on behalf of a distressed homeowner!  The homeowners may think they cannot afford me but they CAN because THEIR bank pays me!  Woot!

And, yes, I am a CDPE, or Certified Distressed Property Expert for Short Sales!

Oh the fun of short sales.  Several of my agents have this designation.  Pretty intense training from what I hear.

Keeping pretty busy lately huh?

Andy-  Quickest so far from start to close is 2 months.  That was Wells Fargo.  I have NO idea how it got approved and closed so quickly, esp. since the Seller's other condo in that community is with same lender and is still sitting there...
