In the Military? You may still be eligible to receive the $8000 or $6500 Homebuyers Federal Tax credit!

Great news for those members of the uniformed services of the US Military, members of the Foreign Service of the US or employees of the intelligence community, who are out of the country for "official extended duty" **for at least 90 days, will be eligible to use the Homebuyer's Federal Tax Credit upon their return through April 30th, 2011. That's April 30th, 2011, not April 30th 2010 AND close by June 30th 2011, not June 30th 2010.

**for at least 90 days during the period beginning after December 31, 2008 and ending before May 1, 2010

What a wonderful opportunity for the men and women that are serving our nation overseas during these critical times to receive an extension of the $8,000 and $6500 Tax Credit to purchase a Home.

Note: A person who is forced to return to the US for medical reasons before completing an assignment of at least 90 days of qualified official extended duty outside the United States may qualify for the one year extension.

I agree with Dawn. This can't be promoted enough. I'm working with a couple right now that are able to benefit.
