I wish all home sales could be like this one, but then I guess my job would be too easy. This home sale in San Jose was a repeat client and this was our 4th transaction together! This buyer paid all cash for the home, closed escrow in 6 days, bought the home in ‘as is’ condition, and with NO contingencies whatsoever. Wow, like Christmas in June!
The really cool story behind this sale is that the family has lived in this Willow Glen neighborhood for generations. The couple’s mother grew up in the neighborhood as a little girl and lived in the very same model home. When the mother got married to her high school sweetheart, they then bought the exact same model home as well in the same neighborhood. And, my client grew up in that home. And, now, she owns the very same model home. So, it’s like a family tradition to buy this model home in the neighborhood. And, to top it off, daycare for the couple’s daughter is right across the street! Is that amazing or what?
This couple is very excited to move into this home and will likely stay there many years, like thier mother and grandmother. In about 23 years, I hope to sell the couple’s 3 year old daughter the same model home in the neighborhood, if I am not retired.
