Rapper Kanye West is renting a house at Diamond Head. His car, a Porsche Panamera, smacked into a the wall of a house last Saturday at four in the morning. The accident occured at Hibiscus Drive, a normally quiet side street.
West was not on Oahu and had authorized his cousin to drive the Porsche. After the accident, three men were observed fleeing the scene. A theft report was filed, the identity of the three men in the Porsche has not been determined.
If you're not familiar with Kanye West, he's the guy who interrupted Taylor Swift's award acceptance speech at the Video Music Awards in September 2009, saying that Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time.
