Alvin Worked in the same building with Longandfoster Downtown Silver Spring and that's how I met him. I talked to him everyday about the weather or his family etc. I never gave him a pitch about purchasing a home. The funny thing about this was the market was still good. I Saw agents bring him food, gift cards and stuff. I was a new agent and broke. I had no money to give but I could give him my friendship. One day while I was sitting in my car he ask me for information on purchasing a home. I gave him a package and really let it go because I was in an office with a lot of experience agents and I didn't think I had a chance. One day while I was sitting in my car he came up to me and said my wife and I want you as our agent.
I asked him out of all those experience agent you talk to everyday why me. He said you are the one I feel comfortable with. He said I trust you. I was so thrilled and also scared. I was scared because I have to see him everyday and he knows everyone in my office. I was taught well to be professional and one thing I knew was to listen to my clients. So everything worked out well.
I took him out to see properties and we went into this townhome and immediately they new this ones was the one. My son was with us and we always remember him walking in the backyard and Alvin saying first thing I'm going to do is put a lock on the back gate so Nicholas can't get out.
Alvin is my client and also my friend. When he have events he always call me to come with my family.
