Ok, IT'S TIME TO STOP THE OIL FLOW !
Florida's Real Estate Market is in jeopardy of disaster. If enough oil spills it will have an impact on our beaches, we need it stopped before the oil hits the shores.. This week alone I had 2 calls with buyers concerend about the impact the oil may have on the price of the property they have under contract. I don't think our state government is screaming out to the federal government enough. As realtors we need to have our voices heard. Please contact your legislators and voice your concern. Our enviroment and our business depends on it.
I totally agree (and I am in Alabama). This has an impact on all of the gulf states. I will do my part in contacting as many people as I can. Good luck to you and your buyers/sellers.

It's time stop it and clean the mess before we get further into hurricane season. Certainly not good for the area RE market and local tourism. What a mess!
Dominic, Crist is in Obama's pocket and Obama is doing absolutely nothing... People all over this country are screaming and nobody is listening in Washington. Vote 'em out & start Nov 2010!
Dominic, I don't envy what any of you are going through that is affected by this spill. There is no greater attention that should be given to anything right now than what is happening here at home. So instead of all this bills that are on the table that are trivial, the government needs to step up to the plate, be 100% committed to get this under control, or the economy in those areas will tank and eventually affect the rest of the country. Best wishes.
ALL Right Coast govs need to buy the boom (in the warehouse in Maine), put it on TRUCKS and get it to THEIR COASTS!! All Right Coast REALTOR associations need to MOBILIZE when it ARRIVES and put it out!!! I'll buy the manicures afterwards!!!
Much to do about nothing here and if it wasn't for WCOA radio and Buck Lee ( does anyone know what his title is) we wouldn't have known there was any oil in the gulf.
