Gas Station Owner With A Conscience Relinquishes The BP Label

 

I heard about it from a friend of mine.  She told me about a Myrtle Beach Gas Station relinquishing their BP affiliation, so I had to go see it for myself.

 

The manager told me that although the process has been started already, the gas was still BP's, but in another couple of weeks that will no longer be the case and all their gas will come from Shell.  

 

I thanked him for doing that and he said:  “I thank you for caring!”  We shook hands.  In two weeks, when the transition is complete, I’ll come back and fill up my tank.
