When Buying a Home You Invest In Your Future, Your Family, Your Life.

Home is Where Your Heart Is.   We've all heard that expression but its still so true today.  It is the place where you spend the most time.  Its where your personal memories become attached to family and friends.  Its no wonder that finding just the right Home is so important to Home Buyers.  The Phrase "Home Sweet Home" is what describes what Home Buyers are Looking For in the feeling of Home ownership.    A sanctuary where no one enters without you personally allowing entry.
What is Home?

A roof to keep out the rain. Four walls to keep out the wind. Floors to keep out the cold. Yes, but home is more
than that. It is the laugh of a baby, the song of a mother, the strength of a father. Warmth of living hearts, light
from happy eyes, kindness, loyalty, comradeship. Home is first school and first church for young ones, where
they learn what is right, what is good and what is kind. Where they go for comfort when they are hurt or sick.
Where joy is shared and sorrow eased. Where fathers and mothers are respected and loved. Where children are
wanted. Where the simplest food is good enough for kings because it is earned. Where money is not so
important as loving-kindness. Where even the teakettle sings from happiness. That is home. God bless it.
Ernestine Schumann-Heink

Ernestine Heink described it well above in what is Home?  I carry with me the memories of my childhood home.  The Big tree, My mother standing at the sink washing dishes, the hardwood floors, dinners at the table and Dad sitting in his rocking chair.   My memories are special of my childhood home and hopefully yours will be also.
Choosing your home is a Life time choice because whether you own your home for a year or a life time memories are formed and remembered by you and your loved ones.   Its not about the Shell but what you fill it up with.    Home is Where the Heart Is.

Hi Shannon,

Good reminder for all of us.  I find it so sad when I show a home for sale that clearly does not convey happiness abounded within those walls.  Some buyers chasing the deal or the big fancy home clearly miss the mark on what home is all about.

Hi Shannon, Thank you for reminding us about the true value in a home, not just the value of the bricks and mortar, but the value to the homeowner of the life that happens in it...

So true, its not about how big but whats in it.  Our house was humble growing up but so full of love and laughter.  We were always busy thinking about things to do, not about what we didn't have.    We were blessed and didn't know it.
