I was relocated to Chandler Arizona in the last 6 months and was delightfully surprised at how affordable the housing was. We were coming from a nice suburb in Minneapolis and moving to a similar type of suburb in the Phoenix metro area.
We got into a comparable home with 4 beds, 4 baths, a 3 car garage and 3400 square feet. Our payment was decreased over $1,200.00/month!!! That is significant money and the other shocker was that real estate taxes were 1/2 of that in MN too!
The sales tax is a couple percent higher, so we will see how that plays into things, but overall, if you are looking for lots of sunshine and a little more coin in your pocket, Chandler Arizona Real Estate might be your ticket.
