What makes a house sell? One of the first things that comes to mind is a Seller willing to work together for the common goal of getting their home sold. Recently I had just that experience, the Seller had been watching all the television shows about sprucing their home and doing some updating. What a surprise when I drove up to a 15 year old home with new concrete siding and a fresh cut lawn. Well, it only got better, the furniture had been arranged so the fireplace was the focal area and there was plenty of open space to move around in. The bedrooms had new linens, the kitchen had nothing on the counters, and the baths sparkled.

Why do I mention all these things, because on the sixth day the house was for sale an offer was made. The Purchaser was looking at other property for less money on the same street, liked the curb appeal and came back. The Seller was thrilled when we worked out something acceptable to everyone. It was a give and take with the Seller willing to work together for that common goal of getting their home sold.
We have not closed on the sale of this property, but I know the Seller will be enjoyable to work with as I keep them updated over the next several weeks. Next week we will start looking for their new home and hope we find a Seller willing to work with us in the same manner. If you are thinking of selling your home, lets work together and get your home sold.
