Social Media-Keeping It In Perspective

By
Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate Group
There is no doubt that social media plays a large role in real estate and our lives in general. Every day the phone rings or an email arrives from someone who has found a blog post or a Facebook update that prompts a comment. But it isn't how many friends you have on Facebook or how many Tweets you post in a day that builds your business or brings fulfillment to your life.

This clip from Chris Brogan an expert in social media says it all.

Thanks for posting this video, Cindy.  It's so true -- our energy and time can be easily diverted from what really matters.  I actually stopped using one of the social media because it just did not make sense to me to use it.

Pamela-to often we see folks who seem to be concentrating all of their time on line and then wonder why their business isn't growing.

Hannah-I much prefer talking to people face to face.  And though I have done a lot of business this year without ever meeting the sellers I look forward to the day I do get to meet them.

Cindy....I agree that what Chris says in the video is spot on.   It is so easy to become consumed with all of the social media that sometimes there is not adequate time to devote to really doing business.
