Salon Solo is now open for business at 1605 W. Pacific Avenue just inside Brown's Addition near the corner of Maple and Pacific. Owner and Master Designer, Randy Holland has been a stylist for more than 20 years and has clients in Spokane and Phoenix Arizona where he flies to regularly to do hair. He also was a partner in Studio 1929 that used to be located right next door to the Elk before it expanded into the salon's former location. Studio 1929 then moved to the corner of Third and Monroe where it stayed for several years before Mark moved to his new digs farther North on Monroe. Recently he has teamed up with twelve year stylist veteran Mark Zalomsky, also formerly of Studio 1929 to open up the new Salon Solo in the location of what was previously the Renaissance Hair Salon.
The Salon also employs a third stylist and his name is Richard. Mark tells me that he has been in the trade for about twelve years as well. If you would like to try out the salon and mention that you got the information from my blog Mark tells me they would take 20% off of your bill. If you a regular client (almost all of their clients have followed them to this new location I am told) please tell them you saw this on here also. I have a couple of friends who get their hair done with these guys and all have been real happy over the years plus they are a lot of fun to visit with while getting your hair cut.
