I love the way you previewed this, got people intrigued enough to subscribe, then put a link to the listing in your comment.
That is brilliant! I am definitely going to try that Michael.
I truly hope that you might have a buyer for this property. Once I got myself to envision this without the attached 'shed' I started to really get excited about this listing. I can totally picture what this will look like when it's finished. :-)
Very nice listing AND flier. Hey, Michael, it looks like you'll go over 150,000 points this weekend... Congratulations.
Margaret - Thanks! In some ways it's my 100,000 point mark because I 'won' an ActiveRain 50,000 point bonus contest. I'm thinking of writing a blog to commemorate this milestone instead.
Bob & Carolin - When this property is 'corrected' I'm quite sure there's a good profit potential. Let me know if you are interested. ;-)
Michael, I like the title of this post...creative thinking for this listing. I think this needs to be featured.
Thanks Rebecca! As Vic alludes to, I had a members-only post on this bank-owned listing when it was a pre-marketing assignment from this bank. I truly was stumped as to how to market this so I turned to the community for help with a free-cup-of-coffee contest and at the end of the day I think I've come up with anything better than I could have done myself.
Another success story from ActiveRain!
Michael....A very interesting property. The main house and garage should make this a great value - the shed, not so much. The price should drive the sale quickly.'

Carra - You're quite right. The area around this property tends to cater to big-rig drivers, construction workers, etc. and it's hard to find quality built garages. One thing that isn't too evident from the photos is that this is on an odd-shaped corner lot with great street frontage on the south side. This could be a very interesting land layout to someone wanting to have additional parking or storage on the property. I'm pleased with the kitchen and living room areas and I think most buyers will be as well. Once the 'shed' is gone and the bedroom layout is fixed this will be a very desireable home.
