Since 1983 I have sponsored the Mooers Realty little league team and enjoyed years of fun with my own four kids going up thru the ranks and now hoot, holler for other Maine local community baseball players.

There is something about having a busy real estate day in Maine and then throwing on shorts, a t-shirt and grabbing your glove to help the team.

Tonight after setting up for the Northern Maine Soap Box Derby track and this weekends race, was able to hit a championship game of the Mooers Realty little league team. maine little leaguer

All the kids have personalities, skills, fun and humor that make the team each year unique, special.

Little league sunset and weekend games in small towns thru out Maine are just one summer past time.

In Houlton Maine besides setting up the soap box derby track, and taking in this game the Mooers Realty little league team won, McGill's Band was playing in the park. Whoever said not much to do in a small town has not been to Houlton Maine.

Kids have energy, emotion, goodness, and know how to have fun. Being around them makes you maine soap box derby racerfeel the same way, happy, enjoying the moment. What happens when we become adults and suddenly mortgage payments, worrying comes in to play with day to day hectic schedules? Make sure to keep kids games a part of your mental health to stay centered, not lose life perspective. Have hockey teams, soap box derby sponsorships too. Being involved in the community you want to help build to be a super place to live is part of a REALTOR's job description.  Just like promoting the heck out of the local area, state Joe and Jane Broker live in.
