I have a drinking problem!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Edge Of The Beach Realty 53243

Whenever I leave my house I need to get a tall 24oz glass of glass of ice water.  If I do not I cannot make it though my day!

It is so hot I guess it is a good thing to stay hydrated during the summer months. But then who ordered summer instead of spring?

I wonder if I drive people crazy chopping my ice (I love ice too! Lots of Ice!!!) then having to take a minute here and there to go to the ladies room. So I make sure to bring my clients water too! (Sorry, just bottled water no ice).

Water is cleansing and good for me so I guess I should not complain.  It is much better than smoking or eating all the time. Or biting my nails or a ton of other bad habits.

It surprises me how many buyers are in town over the hottest months of the year... gotta love it!

Be sure to keep me in mind if you are a buyer or an agent who is looking to purchase property in the area. Not only will I show you whatever it is that might tickle your fancy and find you your dream property, I will provide you with a buyers package and area information, give you a tour of the town and as we go I will provide you with fresh cold water and snacks! Even in the cooler months of the year~

Now how many of you Realtors do that?  What sets you apart from others to provide great customer service?

We should drink at a minimum (8) 8-ounce glasses of water a day.

Experience is not expensive. It is Priceless!

No problem there! I wonder how many folks drink that amount of water though....

Hi Joanne ~  I carry ice water, soft drinks and snacks in my car in case my buyers would like some.  I love eating ice too, but would not recommend chewing it or crunching it when with clients as it is probably very annoying to others ears!

Selling homes in Phoenix in the summer makes having water along for the ride priceless.

I do have to watch it and not I crunch my ice when I am with clients.

I do chop it so the pieces are very small.

NO Annoying buyers!

Not many Realtors around here carry snacks or drinks in the car. we have a transient area where            people look for a couple of days and go home without a purchase, so it can get expensive.

But I think it is "priceless"  and a nice way to service clients.

Thanks for your comment and have a great season!

Joanne,

This was a nice post. It was as refreshing as your water and I like the idea of having water and light snacks handy. You are more than likely showing more than one property and how great if you could offer them something to refresh as well as sustenance.  I am going to have to add to my repertoire.

Thanks for sharing.
