Wow...absolutely beautiful! I love poppies....our state flower, you know. I've tried to grow them on the back hill at our cabin, no luck.

Liz,

My wife grows poppies. Some fools steal the poppy seed pods though to make some sort of tea that they think gets them high, maybe it does.

Steve - Yep that Poppy tea is something else! ;-)

Thanks to Pat for sending the rest of you guys out my way to take a peek!  Mymom had this poppy petit point picture she made when I was young - probably took her a year to do it - its amazing - and ever since then I've always had a 'thang' for poppies as well :)

Bill - the camera is nothing extra special - its a Fuji - :-) I have to go check the model:)

Nathan I don't think there are usually a lot of bees around those poppies - they get stoned and then can't find their way home :-)
