HAPPY FATHER”S DAY to ALL my male peeps here on AR.
Yes you know who you are. We’ve been communicating here for some time and have commented on each other’s blog posts for awhile. Tomorrow they set aside 24 hours to HONOR us for who we are. We pick up the messes in our children’s lives. We hold their hand when they need a firm rock to steady them. We tell them like it is because we know no other way. Sometimes we try to act like them. Deep down inside we LOVE them for the joy they give us as dads. We’re from the “old school”.
Why you may ask that I made the above statements because that’s what my girls mean to me. I’m not going to tell you the amount of tears of joy and sadness I’ve shed over/for them because that’s irrelevant also. In my heart I love them more than life itself. So tomorrow it’s not just about me but about what we mean to each other. I have to say I’m one of the proudest dads in the world.PS I don't have a current picture of the oldest daughter and she is lucky she's on vacation.
