Rossmoor Community was the vision of developer Ross Cortese's who in 1957 developed the 5 square mile area of more than 3500 homes. Today Rossmoor is a highly sought after community known for their tree lined streets, large lots that offer everything from a farmhouse style home to a modern mansion, two centralized parks, and award winning Los Alamitos Unified School District.
Los Alamitos("The Little Cottonwoods" in Spanish) has a colorful history from its early rancho era, through the sugar beet industry in the early 1900's, to the modern city we know today.
Los Alamitos is a thriving metropolitan area and is known for its friendly hometown atmosphere. The schools of the Los Alamitos Unified School District are National Blue Ribbon Schools, California Distinguished Schools, and have received Golden Bell Awards.
Los Alamitos and Rossmoor are just 5 miles from the beach in Seal Beach, and is in close proximity to interstates 605 and 405 and the 22 Freeway. Both communities are in Orange County, but are just at the border of Los Angeles County
