The nesting box is about a 5 minutes walk from my house and over a steep hill.  Papa and Momma blue bird made sure to chose a nesting box that was not in a high traffic zone.  It is a nice workout to get on top of the hill but the gorgeous views are worth it!   I am glad you enjoyed the paparazzi joke.  It took me a few seconds after the word came to my mind, to realize that it was a good occasion to make use of that word and with the topic of this post.  :)

Thank you.  Bigfork is about 450 miles from Red Lodge.  Kalispel is further away at about 490 miles from Red Lodge.   I hope to be able to visit that area (Northwest) of Montana some day.

Thank you.  Now that you mentioned, it does look like the shape of a polar bear.   However, the only type of bear I have seen around here (and very rarely out in the wild) is the black bear.
