Short Sales Woes

By
Real Estate Agent with One Property Source

A year ago I would have told you that I had rather have a gun pointed at me than to work on short sales.  But guess what, when the market is 60% short sales and foreclosures, you better change your mind set.  The short sale process is certainly more involved and time consumming but can be a real asset to the buyers and also to the sellers that are in a financial crisis.   Learn the questions to ask and understand the procedures with the lenders so that you can better advise your clients.

Experience is not expensive. It is Priceless!

I am with you! I thought I would avoid as many short sales as I could but now...

you are not doing business unless you are dealing with them in a knowledgeable way!

Pat, I agree with you but then I was lucky enough to find excellent help and tips on a web site www.shortsalesuperstars.com

Learn the process so you can get these through as quickly as possible. Things are changing a bit with the lenders, but every day is a new adventure. ;) I actually love doing short sales.

Short Sales are the most intense sales but we have been doing them for 3 yrs and they are the business at this point.
