It's been a stressful day at work and you arrive home and notice the grass needs mowing, the garden needs weeding and the mail is full of bills. Oh great, the roof estimate is in and it is much higher than anticipated. And then, just when you weren't even really thinking about making a change, your Realtor's newsletter is there with article on Condo's and the options for you dance before your eyes! Bliss you think, that's what I want!
Quick Check List:
Will I really have more free time or will I have to work more to pay for a nice one?
How do I feel about paying a Condo Fee and what does it include?
Do I want to live in closer proximity to more people?
Would I like a townhouse style or a high rise?
Parking - how important is it and how convenient do I want it to be?
Could I or would I walk or more often take public transportation if I lived in a condo?
Do condo's have a lot of "rules" about how I will live?
Am I ready to downsize?
How much room do I feel I need to be comfortable? Less or more than I have?
Would I miss the satisfaction of doing maintenance and improvements?
Would a condo be a better/worse investment than what my money is invested in?
How important is location to me and could I find/afford a condo to suit my lifestyle?
Will having less space cause much change and will I like the changes?
Would I gain a sense of freedom and make good use of it?
The desire for condominium living is growing rapidly for many reasons including reducing stress, wise investing and enhanced lifestyle.
