How well do you know your clients??

As I'm getting my real estate career off the ground I'm trying to build a solid foundation.  The one think that is most important to me is getting to know my clients.  Although I'm new at real estate, I'm not new in terms of people skills.  I think one of the most important things to do as a Realtor is to listen.  People are going to get tons of phone calls from Realtors once they start their home search or list their home.  What will make you stand a part from all the others?  Well I'm working on a questionnaire to try to find out more about my clients so I can focus on what they are looking for.  I can remember when searching for a home I would tell my Realtor I want a home with a dining room as I like to entertain.  Then an email would follow with 12 home listings and maybe 2 or 3 would have a dining room.  I knew that I didn't want to see those homes, and I think that it may seem so simple to a realtor to just put all the listings in there but it was something that kinda put me off.  Do you have a questionnaire that you would be willing to share some of the questions that you think are most important?  I would love some input from other agents.

So true, you must be attentive to your clients needs.  And remember each client's need is different from another.  Getting a questionnaire would be great.  I am definitely going to do one for my clients You are on the right track and continue to be all you can be. Thanks for posting.
