DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!

DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!  My husband and I are here in Fraser, Colorado at the Young Life Crooked Creek Camp.  This is like NO other camp experience that I have ever had.  This is a LUXURY resort like no other!

Crooked Creek Camp

From the moment we first drove up to the entrance, we were met by enthusiastic staff members who offered us a cool glass of lemonade and fresh fruit!  Wow, what a pleasant surprise and how wonderful such a small detail this was.  Weary from the travel and having this as our first encounter was meaningful.

As we drove down the winding road leading us to the camping area, we could not help but notice the attention to details in EVERYTHING!  No matter where you look, things are meticulous and manicured.  Not one bit of trash, polished banisters, blooming flowers, and staff members who treat you as if you are THE most important person there!

For those of you who are not familiar with Young Life, it is a student-based ministry with a heart for teenagers.  These teenagers are brought to this wonderful place away from the stresses of their lives and are exposed to this attention to detail.  Why is this important?  The leaders of Young Life believe that just because these are teenagers, they too should receive nothing less than the BEST experience of their lives!

While God has always demonstrated that He is a God of details, Young Life is bringing this to the kids.  It is such an honor to be here as an adult guest and to be able to witness all of this daily.  Seeing the leaders of these kids who are selflessly giving of their vacation time to be here and to be mentors is unbelievable.

I so "get" this attention to detail and believe that when we take this approach to be the BEST that we can be and to make a difference in every detail that we stand apart in this world.  What can you do today to pay attention to the details of your work, your family, your health that WILL impact those around you?

Choose ONE thing that you will break down to the most miniscule detail and see what happens!

My son Jake, who you met, used to play ball with the son of the VP of Young Life.  Their organization is notorious about excellence and trying to reach into the heart of kids.  Have a great time. g

Professional treatment of our clients, brings awes

Paula now you have had a taste of Colorado, you need to come down to the southwest part of the state, this is the most beautiful part. Telluride, Montrose, the county of Montrose has 60% public lands and is truly something to see.

If I have to camp this is the kind of camp I want to go to!  What a great commitment for you to take time off to go and spend with teenagers, they keep us young and we can each learn from each other too!  Have a blast looks like a resort to me are you sure you are at camp???
