YOU ARE NOT IN KANSAS

By
Real Estate Agent with Prudential Team Realty

When you walk out on your deck and see this in your front yard you know you are not in Kansas Dorothy.

Mom and her babies

I was going outside to light the grill and attempt to burn something when I noticed that our yard was full of elk. there were five cows, but only two babies.  I'm sure that we'll be having some more young elk joining us shortly.

Estes Park is truly an amazing place to live.  I'm sure you can imagine the feeling when you walk outside and this is what you are greeted with.   Have a terrific day.

I always said if I thought I could make a living, I'd love to live in Wyoming or Colorado.

What beautiful countryside and what fantastic neighbors you have.

John,

Thanks for the shirt comment.  I get to wear it six times a year.  That just happened to be one of those days.

Lenn,

They are great neighbors.  Leaving Nebraska I let the lawnmower go with the house.  Here we have all of these four wheel drive all terrain lawn mowers that fertilize as they go.

Sharon,

They aren't always great to see. The elk pretty much eat everything you try to plant or grow.  We finally decided that hanging silk plants were the way to go.  I spent all summer that year picking the silk flowers up and putting them back in the baskets.

Now, I just enjoy the elk, gave up on the flowers.
