Real estate work was hot, hot, hot in Newnan Georgia today!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

Daybreak in Newnan GAWith temperatures in the 90’s and very high humidity, Summer is in full swing in Newnan Georgia.

But working in real estate was even hotter today for agents at my office, as the air conditioner cried “uncle” and decided to quit working. And as the temperature rose inside, so did the frenzy of activity.

Everyone was up for the challenge. After all, our clients come first and if that means if we have to work in the heat, so be it.

Fax machines faxed, copiers copied, and printers printed continuously as the offers and signed contracts made their way from office to client to office to another office! We were all working furiously and oblivious to the less than pleasant conditions.

So when I say that the real estate business was hot in Newnan today, I mean both literally and figuratively.

And hopefully, tomorrow will be even hotter!

This reminds me of the day the ac units were gutted for copper at the office.  Boy was the temp rising then.  I hope you get your units fixed faster than we did as it took several days for the new units to arrive!

Now is not a good time for the A/C to give it up.  It doesn't seem quite as hot this week as it did last week though.

Richard - Temps can be weathered as long as business is hot. Glad to hear activity is cooking. It's like hay Season rolling it into the barn, never knowing when the flow will stop. Cheers to the action and I hope it continues.

Richard...Great to hear that your office beat the heat on your own terms with or without the a/c. I used to live in Atlanta so I know how hot and humid it can get there.

I am glad to hear that you are in a HOT selling frenzy in Newnan.  I hope that the office will be a little cooler for you tomorrow but not the selling.

Real Estate isn't hot here, but the temps are.  We had 95 and 60%+ humidity.  now if the Real Estate would be half as hot.

Hey sweating is a good thing if you have business to go with it. I got to stay in the office today and it got a little chilly. Could be because I turned the thermostat down to a nice 68 degrees. Don't want anyone to fall asleep.

Hi Richard - That's a nice blazing sky to go along with all of the heat in the office. Very cool to hear how everyone focused on the task at hand for their clients.

Ha! I love your comparison of the heat to your office activity.

Our office was nice and cold today. In fact you could of hung meat there or called it the morgue. There did end up being a couple agents in the office, but other than that it was as quiet as a library.

Hmmmm. What am I saying?

Richard, the AC in the 'west wing' of our office went out for a while today. Like you, we all kept right on working!

Richard I don't think there would be so many people in the South if it weren't for AC.
