Prisoners Getting Paid Homebuyer Tax Credit...Seriously
Over 1200 prison inmates wrongly received more than $9 million in tax credits for homebuyers despite being locked up when they claimed they bought a home, a government investigator reported Wednesday.
The investigator said 241 of the inmates were serving life sentences.
Over 14,000 taxpayers wrongly received over 26 million in tax credits. One property had 67, yes 67 individuals claim the tax credit.
It's very hard to express exactly what am I feeling & thinking...if I wasn't a Christian than this post would
be completey "bleeped out".
I know, we need to understand that the IRS was overwhelmed with requests so a few mistakes here and there should be overlooked...but 14,000?????
