TAKING TIME TO PLAY! Vacation Day 3 and what a blast we are having. What I have noticed the most is that the teenagers at this camp have relaxed into the camp mode and have now been electronic free for three days. The end result is the beauty of seeing these teenagers out playing.
These kids are truly playing! They are running around laughing, being creative, allowing themselves to be real and just getting back to the basics. Seeing this in action has been an awesome thing to witness.
As an adult guest, we too are being able to just play. We all need to remember to take the time to totally abandon being a grown up at times and allow ourselves to be kids again. The stress of the world just melts away and seeing everyone laughing and being supportive of one another is wonderful.

Will you allow yourself some time to PLAY today? Why not carve out a family play day and make everyone put up all electronics and do something together. I believe we would all be much better off if we just took the time to play!
