A QUARTER MILLION POINTS ON ACTIVE RAIN. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Ken, I don't why I'm reblogging this... But what the hay... 1/4 Million is a terrific milestone.
I passed 250,000 points on the real estate website Active Rain the other day...
It makes me laugh. Sounds like a lot of points. A quarter million...
Wow.
The point system is the genius behind the success of Active Rain. Without the points, I may have never gotten hooked on blogging and social media...
Who doesn't like to have a little competition? And that competition created involvement. It created dedicated writers. Thousands of writers...
Writers like me. People with things to say...
250,000 points. I have heard points don't matter...
I say they do:
- I am Active Rain's Featured agent in my city of Naperville, ranked #1.
- I am Active Rain's Featured agent in Du Page County, ranked #1.
- I am on the first page of Google for search terms including, "Naperville Realtor", "Naperville Real Estate", "realtor I can trust", "buying a home in Naperville", "selling a home in naperville" and about a million other searches regarding real estate in and around Naperville.
- I am Naperville's "Top Neighbor" on Active Rain's sister website, Localism, "World's Most Complete Neighborpedia"...
- My Active Rain profile has been viewed more than 15,000 times. My posts have been read more then 200,000 times...
- I generate 75% of my rapidly growing real estate business through my blogging activities...
250,000 points? What does it mean?
