Charles Rutenberg Realty rocks! I have been with the company since 2007 and the level of service to their agents never ceases to amaze me! Today I attended another one of our training sessions that are held at least once a month and are open to any agent that wants to attend - nothing is mandatory!
Today's seminar was held at the East Lake Woodlands Clubhouse and started off with a presentation of both the FAR/BAR AS IS contract and the FAR-9 contract. Michael J. Heath, Attorney at Law, held the presentation and it was excellent. I have heard Michael speak before and today was no exception. He explained the differences between the two contracts and pointed out items in each that can lead to law suits and other problems. Having an attorney dissect these two contracts was a wonderful learning tool. No matter how long you have been in the business, there is always something to learn!
After the question/answer period at the end of Michael's presentation JoAnne Nestor, who together with her husband John founded Charles Rutenberg Realty, had a magnificent buffet prepared by the East Lake Woodlands Clubhouse staff for us to enjoy. This was followed by an afternoon session presented by Wells Fargo Home Mortgages about home renovations and how new home purchases can have renovations rolled into the mortgage at time of purchase.
It was a wonderful learning experience as well as giving us time to catch up and chat with colleagues that we don't see often enough.
A special thanks to John Rurkowski, our on-site broker in Clearwater, and the entire office staff too, for making it a wonderful day and a great learning experience.
