WOW! 1,295 prisoners, including 241 serving life sentences, received $9.1 million in the first time homebuyer credits, even though they were incarcerated at the time they reported that they bought their home. These prisoners didn't file joint returns, so their claims could not have been the result of purchases made with or by their spouses, the report said. What are they going to do - send them to jail!?!?!

This is why we do not need the government to handle anything.  How, could they pay them?

Yet another reason something is going to have to change in our country and the way things are handled.  If this had happened in any business...well, we all know what would happen to its employees.  I feel quite certain that, as usual, this will get swept under the rug as well.

Thanks for the comments everyone!  I share your frustration!  This is what happens when the government gets involved in our industry!
