That looks like a great candidate for a 203K construction loan and lots of elbow grease.  Good luck with the sale.

Andrew, love the cows!  Looking at your videos can make me forget how cold it gets up there in the winter time!

Handyman Maine houses are not secondary mortgage market cookie cutter loans to squeeze in to a tight pair of jeans. But at these low prices, folks heading in this direction don't need a bank, mortgage and own the place outright. And them proceed to hammer, nail, paint, paper as they can afford, as the mood strikes them. Winter temperature....just so happen to have a video for that.

Come little more up the road...in Waterville you still are about five hours away from the top of Maine, 3 hours from the area we serve. 58 acres with a home that looks like Stephen King made a movie there for $34,500 just listed, being packaged, sliced and diced for on line. It happens a lot, low cost Maine real estate..not just once in a while. It's typical, common, happens every day, year in and out.

That's a great video! What an awesome house, just too bad it's not in Florida. I can't do the winters up there. :-)

I could not do summers, humidity in Florida...many snowbirds do both...Maine 3 seasons, Florida, Carolinas, AZ 3 months in winter.
