relationship marketing not social marketing- the Glenn Garnes way

There IS a difference between social marketing and relationship  marketing.  I have always believed in the pay it forward way of life.  Is is not true for many of us, but by the grace of God, go I? 

I worked and played my way through an adventureous life. Through my forty years of teaching, I never worried about making contacts and helping others with the expectation of getting something out of it.  It was the joy of the adventure and meeting others that was the thrill. 

When I became a realtor, meeting and having fun meant meetings to give out business cards and get leads.  I met an old friend who new and loved me as a teacher.  When I told her I was a realtor, the look on her face changed, like I had the plague.  The last year of trying to push business cards to strangers has been very difficult.

Then I met Glenn Garnes of the RELATIONSHIP MARKETING CENTER.  Glenn reminded me that forming relationships is what life is all about.  We do it because we can and it brings us joy to do so.  I am sold on what he says, does, and lives.  He walks the talk.

Now I am working my way back to who I used to be.  I am going to meaningful events that help society and  I worry about my  clients, doing what needs to be done, and not resting until they are happily installed in their new homes.
