Leander McClain Is Looking to Interview NJ Foreclosure Prevention Specialists

Homeowners Facing ForeclosureReaders of my blog know that I specialize in selling Bank Owned Foreclosures. In today's Real Estate climate, foreclosures and short sales make up a major part of sales. Many of these foreclosures happened because the former owners were not given proper advice and guidance when they still had a chance to avoid foreclosure. I would like to do my part to stop at least 1 foreclosure in New Jersey.

There are legitimate people & company's that can assist some homeowners in preventing foreclosure.  I am not talking about the fly by night people that collect $1,000 from you and DO NOTHING!

So, I am putting together a series of video interviews of reputable foreclosure assistance specialists . If you work in New Jersey and specialize and are interested in being interviewed for this series, send your responses to the interview questions to NJForeclosureGuy@gmail.com. Please include you name, company and contact information. My staff will review your responses and if selected, will contact you to set up the interview.

 My hope is that I will be able to help many people save their homes.

 Interview Questions

  1. Please introduce yourself for the audience?
  2. Can you tell the audience a little bit about your background and education?
  3. What is your area of expertise?
  4. What made you decide to choose this area to specialize in?
  5. When a person doesn’t pay their mortgage for a certain amount of time, the (bank/mortgage company) may begin foreclosure proceedings. Can you explain foreclosure?
  6. So once a foreclosure has been started, is there any way to stop it?
  7. What is a mortgage modification?
  8. Does everyone qualify for a modification?
  9. What should a person do if they know they are losing their job and won’t be able to pay the mortgage?
  10. Are there other ways to prevent a foreclosure?
  11. Are there cases where you may not be able to help?
  12. 10. What is the difference between your services and those of “credit counseling” or “stop foreclosure” companies?
  13. 11. Finally, here is the big question that everyone wants to know: What is the range of costs for your services?
