Client needs are now more varied than before as Boomers continue to age. Many, even if they do not want to sell primary or secondary homes immediately, need good information to pass along to insurance brokers, bankers and financial advisors. Are you prepared to be able to give them that information?
Without accurate information for the attorney, financial planner, insurance agent/broker and accountant, among others, these clients will be at a loss as to how to pass along assets or make intelligent decisions as to the dispensation of such assets should they become disabled, have a financial setback or divide assets among survivors. I am working to get more information to pass along to you without becoming an "expert" or giving you more than I can make sure is true and correct, at least for the State of Minnesota.
I do not intend to replace any of the above professionals, but I would like to make you think about contacting one or more before making any very important decisions. Please feel free to contact me for information about a market anyalsis on one or any of your property that you might currently own to make sure that you have a current valuations.
And, other realtors, I would hope that you become skilled in this area in case one of your clients calls for similar services.
Sometimes, the worst things happen when we are busy making other plans. A bit of a twist on John Lennon's observation.
Take care.
