A post inspired by Al and Peggy Cunningham. This car was parked across from the restaurant in Rhinebeck New York where I was dining last night.

I later discovered a variety of cars parked on the street, not a surprise since the Good Guys Rod and Custom Car Carshow is at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds just a few blocks away. By the way the show is still running today so still an opportunity for you to catch the show.

Ok - I'm changing my answer. I'm guessing 1956 Oldsmobile. I remembered those little planets on the hubcaps are an Olds insignia. Here's a picture:

Okay I will now reveal the car the wheel is attached to. I suspect these must be some type of a custom hubcap, I could not find any information on it. I can see Myrl's point.

Gorgeous Car! Haven't a clue what it is but thsoe wheels are gorgeous! My dad loves older cars and always says he is going to buy one just so he can go out and buy ice cream in it and call it his "ice cream car." Everytime I see one I think of him :)
