I spent today doing one of my favorite things, showing Charlottesville country homes. 
My clients are from Arizona and this was their first visit to Charlottesville and Central Virginia. They are looking for the perfect country property to retire to with their 3 Walking Horses. Today we concentrated our search on the Route 20 North, Keswick and Louisa County areas. Tomorrow we will finish our tour looking at small Charlottesville horse farms in White Hall, Southern Albemarle County and Fluvanna.
There are some beautiful homes with 10-25 acres of pasture in each of these areas. Charlottesville is on Kiplinger's list of great places to retire, but Charlottesville is also one of the best places to retire with horses.
