Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 29, 2010, More Cleanup will be happening on the beach--getting rid of the weeds and having the sand "deep raked"--This year at South Pond will be much more enjoyable than it was last year....
YES there are "portable bathrooms" at South Pond-this will make the beach experience a bit more sanitary!!
"NO FISHING" signs went up for those that insist on fishing when people are swimming....BUT another big issue is fishing hooks on the beach-So while you are down there swimming...take a look around your area to see if there are any hooks around--it will make it safer for you and the next person....PAY IT FORWARD...
If you are interested in helping out to clean up or take test samples on Mondays, please a call Chris Merrow 508-867-8517!!!
