Speechless Sunday-Signage Failure

By
Real Estate Agent with Florida Property Experts

I was just leaving a comment on J. Philip Faranda's photo blog for today, and I just had to add my own shot of our personal sign failure. Except in our case, my daughter hung this sign on the inside of my husband's closet door about 10 years ago! Hmmm. Now how is it that I can actually SEE the sign right now?

How about just the diagram. (lol) This brings back fun memories of my daughter when she was younger =)

BTW, he won't let us remove the sign. He says he likes it. He even added the paper flower she made him several years ago as well. *SIGH*! (Epic Fail!)

Cute! That sign seems very much in character with your daughter today (seems like I know her from your posts!).

I like it, and may have to copy it for my son. I wonder if it will work any better for him?

Very cute! Too bad those signs don't work as well in men's bathrooms.

Lisa, I love the description of just how to shut a closet door.  Funny stuff.  The flower adds just the right touch.

Lisa , love it, most especially step 3 "Everyone's Happy".  And, of coarse the flower.

Lisa, that sign is a keeper!  Even if he doesn't shut the door, it is still a keeper!

Ahhhhhhhh, a man after my own heart.. He does have class, the flower is just what the sign needed and it looks like it would hinder the door from being completely closed.  ;-))

Jason- That sign has been hanging there so long it's like we don't even see it anymore. BTW, it never worked >.<

Tim- Yep. She was very thorough in her instructions!

Kathryn- Just the usual around here ;-)

Gary- I would say she's my "mini-me" ... if she wasn't 4.5 inches taller than me! :-/

Philip- I just wish it worked! lol

Allen- I hope it works better for you than it has for us ;-)

Susie- It doesn't work on a closet door either!

Chris- Yep. A lot of effort... that didn't have any effect. I think it back-fired. Let's leave the door open so we can see the sign! LOL

Susan- Oh yes. We must decorate the sign; then leave the door open so we can see it all!

Robert- It's amazing how we think 10 years isn't very long, until it applies to a 20 year-old child. 10 years ago she was only 10! That's a huge difference! I guess it's all relative =)

Leah- Notice how SHE is not included in the "Everyone is happy" picture. Hmm. I wonder who was complaining about the door always being open.  *looks innocently at everyone else*

Tony- Total backfire! The only way to see the sign is when the door is open! >.<  lol

Don- Actually, we made sure the door would close. But he prefers to see the sign. lol
