Allen Academy in Bryan provides a rigorous and superior education in the humanities, arts, and sciences for students in Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade.  Their upper school academic program is a college preparatory program. It emphasizes higher order taxonomy while reinforcing objective knowledge and test taking skills.  A number of extra-curricular activities are scheduled by the school to provide students an opportunity to explore their passions and develop the social skills necessary for success in interpersonal relationships. Additionally, all Upper School students are required to complete 10 hours of community service during each year of high school.  Allen offers a student/faculty ratio that cannot be beat:

  • Lower School student/faculty ratio: 10:1
  • Middle and Upper School student/faculty ratio: 14:1

St. Joseph's Catholic School in Bryan is designed to offer a challenging and enriching academic experience.  St. Joseph's curriculum was created with a full range of opportunities for religion, reading, writing, math, science, and the arts.  Students at the Early Learning Center take part in educational lessons in a small group setting.  Middle and high school courses build on the foundation laid in the elementary years and challenge students to investigate and analyze topics more fully. Both middle and high school students are encouraged to take a variety of classes in many topic areas, and to participate in academic and art competitions.

St. Michael's Academy in Bryan offers a rich and varied academic experience.  In addition to the rigorous coursework, many different activities are scheduled for the full development of your child.  Field trips to points of local and regional interest begin in the Pre School and grow in range and scope as students move up in grade.  Athletics include inter-scholastic competition with local private and parochial schools in volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and field and golf.  And opportunities are offered for after school education in Arts, Music, Culture and Natural Science.
