The Fourth of July is approaching fast. Indiana does have state laws regarding the use of fireworks so be sure to check these out. As far as I know Allen County does not have a law in place. The city of Fort Wayne does and it is not legal TO SET OFF FIREWORKS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS UNTIL June THE TWENTY-NINTH. The GRACE PERIOD LAST UNTIL Friday July NINTH. during THE TWO WEK SPAN YOU WILL BE RESTRICTED TO ONLY USE FIREWORKS FROM FIVE O'CLOCK -ELEVEN O'CLOCK PM. with THE fourth BEING A SPECIAL OCCASION YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO SHOOT OFF FIREWORKS FROM TEN IN THE MORNING UNTIL MIDNIGHT. always USE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION AND KEEP THEM IN YOUR OWN YARD. If not, you should clean them up when finished.

We have state laws against individuals setting off wireworks (beyond sparkler type things that do not propell into the sky) so in Georgia only licensed professional companies are supposed to do so. Although on holidays from time to time people who drive out of state to purchase do it anyway. But locally we have a great company that is sponsored by a local Marina and they do them at the water's edge and lots and lots of boats go out onto the lake to watch. It's really fun and beautiful.
