Hi, Lee and Carol. I lived in Maine (Zone 4) for 15 years and Vermont (Zone 3½) for 10 where you could have a lot of different perennials but the "growing season" was VERY short! Here in Tennessee, which is Zone 6, I am constantly amazed by the proliferation and variety of wildflowers and perennials, although I still haven't gotten a grip on what grows when because the season is so long.

BEAUTIFUL lilies....we have many here, too. I love the shapes and colors.
