The Regional Multiple Listing Service of Minnesota now offers a complete price change history as part of its VOW data feed. Web site visitors can access this and other data like Days on Market so long as they register and authenticate their email address. It's a terrific benefit for the consumer, and a great lead capture tool.
Of course, this information is quite revealing when you find a listing that has been on the market for over 9 months, had 10 price reductions, and is now listed at less than 46% of the original list price. It begs all kinds of questions, and I would love to hear your comments.
