New cover of the AT&T phone book features Pony Express Sesquicentennial.....
AT&T, the St. Joseph Convention & Visitors Bureau and local dignitaries unveiled the new cover of the Yellow Pages on June 29, 2010, at the Patee House Museum featuring the Pony Express Sesquicentennial.
This year the St. Joseph community has had many celebrations to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the Pony Express, which began in St. Joseph, Mo., in 1860. And today was another celebration...the Sesquicentennial is featured on the cover of the new AT&T Real Yellow Pages directories serving the St. Joseph area. More than 70,000 copies of the directories have been produced for distribution in the area this year. Delivery is will begin later this week, and will last approximately four weeks. The directory also will be available to new residents and businesses throughout the year.
The announcement is exciting news because the phone book will put the anniversary out there in front of the community for another year! It will be a reminder to local citizens as well as to our visitors each time they use the directory.
AT&T Advertising Solutions was proud to feature the anniversary of the Pony Express on the cover. They continually work to make the directory covers special on the outside and include community information inside to best meet the needs of local residents and businesses.
