After a couple of days of rest, time for all the bruises to heal we have reached Day 20 of World Cup 2010 and have two days of "Quarter Finals" ahead of us.  Japan and Portugal have left for home.

It's time to pull out all the stops, as it says in South Africa's theme song Bafana Bafana "you must put lightning in your boots".

Friday July 2, 2010 World Cup 2010 enters Day 20.

Game 57 will be between Netherlands and Brazil played at Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth) with a capacity for the World Cup of 48,459.

Game 58 will be between Uruguay and Ghana played at Soccer City (Johannesburg) with a capacity for the World Cup of 94,700.

Al and Peggy,

I was rooting for Ghana but despite a great effort, they lost 4-2 in a shoot out against Uruguay. Have a good UFO day!

I forgot to ad that Netherlands have won all their games in this World Cup.  Argentina is the only other team to do so.   Brazil losing today still seems an upset but I believed that the winner of this match will be the ones to win this World Cup so I now believe the Netherlands will go all the way and win it.
