They Are Everywhere!  Another Strange Out-Of-This-World Encounter!

UFO Day - Left Hand Side of Local Rag Website's Main Page - July 2, 2010As I was checking The Local Rag newspaper, I found out that today (July 2) is UFO Day.

Here are a couple photos I meant to post on AR for quite some time and to the group: PARANORMAL STORIES & EXPERIENCES .

Here is a very strange scene that was just staring at me in the streets of downtown Montreal in January 2010.  I immediately thought that I had to capture it to share with my friend Vegas Bob on ActiveRain.   I was trying to get in the festive holiday shopping mood but I was caught by surprise and in a state of shock by seeing this window! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am seeing strange things - Is it time for my next eye exam?

I thought what I saw then was very strange!  Perhaps this was brilliant "out of this world" marketing and a clever way to remind people to get their eyes examined!!!  Or was it another reminder (a very well staged one may I add) that they are out there and looking at us (and from different places and all angles)? 

When you do not expect to be seeing such things, it tends to leave you with a permanent impression and an unforgettable image!

I am afraid it is too late to try and erase this image out of my head and perhaps now... from yours!

Vegas Bob, this post is a special post just for you!  I hope you are enjoying your extra-terrestrial weekend at the UFO convention in Roswell, New Mexico and will share some other out-of-this-world photos with us soon on AR!

I rushed to get this post in so that I can get out of the house to see and take photos of the first of 3 rodeo/July 4th parades in Red Lodge.

Strange that no one has come by to comment yet after more than 5 hours.   Where is everybody?  Very strange!  Are my friends here on AR out of the office, out of the house, having barbecues and out celebrating early?  Or did the Aliens do such that this post does not get seen by the people on Earth?

Creepy--very creepy, but in a beautiful sort of way.  I love the store window and did not know that today was UFO Day!  I hope They are not offended - I didn't even bake a cake ! :-)

Hi Gerry - I first saw this out-of-the world post at about 6:53 pm last night (Eastern), about 1 hour after you wondered where everyone was in comment 1.  But like VB's cousin in photo # 1 who was thinking "I am seeing strange things.  Is it time for my next eye exam?", I thought how strange it was that there were aliens on vacation in Red Lodge for the long weekend.  Where did all the moose go?

So I pondered the question overnight but did not come up with any brilliant inspirations (as well as waiting for midnight to roll around since I need my points and sometimes it is very hard to find appropriate posts to comment on after one has commented on the posts that one follows).

I can't wait to see if they show up in the Rodeo or other daytime Red Lodge moosebrations!

I think the Aliens did not want the people to know that it was UFO day yesterday.  It may sound creepy as well, but I think they wanted to stay secretive.  I have no idea what they would have thought about receiving a cake from Red Feather Lakes.  Perhaps, if they liked the cake, they may come back and pay more visits to your area and that may be a home away from home and the next area 51.  :)

They have not visited Red Lodge but who knows how long that will be true?   It may well be the time for your next eye exam as the post did say those Aliens where Montrealiens!  :)

Gerry - Hmmm, your post talks about Red Lodge (the Local Rag), Montreal (aliens) as well as Roswell.  I missed the Montreal perhaps because it was written in English rather than in French (Montréal) or perhaps I was utilizing the skills I learned in my Grade 11 or Grade 12 speed reading course.

I think my next eye exam comes up in the next few months so I'll need to check my records.  Thanks for the reminder.  OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) stopped covering eye exams about 5 or 6 years ago if you are between 18 and 65 and do not have certain types of medical issues relating to eyes.

I have been to many places but have not yet been to Roswell (but thanks to Vegas Bob, we get to visit there virtually).  Sorry for the confusion caused by the various listed cities have caused.  Je suis désolé.

Vegas Bob,

I am looking forward to your photos taken in Roswell, New Mexico.  I thought it would be great to get this post out on UFO day!   Thank you for the feature (especially since it my second feature in a row on this one of the weirdest groups in AR) but the credit really goes to the two Aliens in the first photo above who inspired me to do this post.  Have a great 4th and UFO convention in Roswell!
