People Are Speaking Out

As long as we have a left and a right aisle, we will always have split decisions.  I would love to have someone put to the test.  If someone came up with a new law to get passed, and they did not disclose what party affiliation they were, and they were one of our governing bodies, the bill would either get passed with flying colors, or have the majority deny it most likely.  There are way to many party line voters in our government.  They do not work for the people, they work for their job and party.

I agree with Don.  I have becoming more vocal, with the idea that we really do need to eliminate the concept of party affiliations and let people and ideas run on their own merits

You know I never like to express my political opinions, LOL but with the election of Obama this country was thrown into the biggest battle for our future existence than we have ever seen. . Our enemies have not been able to inflict as much damage in over  two hundred years as Obama has in less than two years. Thats what happens when you elect a baby-killer.

We can't expect to much of the President.  We knew he had no executive experience and radical views before he was elected.  Apparently his good looks and slick speeches tricked many Americans into overlooking the important stuff on what makes a good President.

I do believe the two party system has eroded to the point where party views and positions are more important that doing what is right for the Country.

Our Country was founded on the concept of limited government. Unfortunately, we are being led down a course of Government entitlement and Government granted rights. Our constitution and government was never meant to guarantee every citizen a home, a job, or healthcare. One just has to read some of Jefferson's works to understand our founding father's concerns over the exact course our Government is taking.

I'm tired of hearing about Obama's inheritance.  How much longer can he continue to blame Bush for the crisis are country is facing?  Did Bush blame Clinton for 911 because he didn't work hard enough during his term to fight the terrorists?  No, he didn't.

Each administration has to deal with the problems our country faces when they take office.

BTW, you can NOT whine about "inherited the problems" when you campaigned vigorously for the job and the problems that your knew conveyed.

I suspect that most Americans see through the blame game.

Hells bells*, the ONLY thing he inherited that he did NOT vote for was Iraq, and what he got in that regard was a mess already cleaned up!
