If you’d like to get outside this awesome weather we’re having this weekend, consider checking out Randleman Lake.
The 3,000 acre lake was opened for recreational activities this past March. Boaters have been enjoying the fishing since then, catching crappie, catfish, and largemouth bass. There are piers as well, for fishing from or just for just sitting and enjoying the water.
The boat access in Randolph County is on Adams Farm Road just off US 220 Bypass at the Level Cross Exit.
The access is open March 1-November 30, Wednesdays through Sundays.
Operating hours are:
- March: 8 am – 6 pm
- April: 7 am – 7 pm
- May – August: 6 am – 8 pm
- September – October: 7 am – 7 pm
- November: 8 am – 5 pm
