There is nothing like a 4th of July Parade and The 4th of July Felida Children's Parade is one of the best!
The Annual 4th of July Felida Children's Parade. Pre-parade gathering starts at 10:45 a.m. at Felida Park; and the Parade should begin at 11:00.
Wear a costume and/or decorate your bike, trike, or wagon (red, white, and blue). March, ride, watch, and wave! All riders must wear HELMETS.
The Parade Route will finish at Felida Park, where the after parade activities in the park are FREE and include:
Antique fire engine rides, face painting, button making, games, toys/points, displays, and music
Picnic lunch, Lewis & Clark Expedition Camp, Fly Casting demonstration and much more!
NW 36th Avenue will be closed to through traffic prior to the parade as well as during the Parade so, if your travel plans take you to either side of the Felida area, please plan accordingly.
The weather should be bright and sunny so be sure to dress appropriately; use sunscreen and drink plenty of the correct fluids for this type of hot weather.
