There is a beautiful four level townhome in Gainesville, VA for sale under $170,000. These properties sold last year close to the high $250-300Ks. The foreseeable future is definitely an increase in the community. Why do investors stray away from an excellent opportunity? The condo fees are $235 a month. Have we lost long term investors? I am finding a trend in various counties with this issue.

I have found in Ca. in the Silicon Valley that many investors just do not want to pay condo fees. I guess they think they can defer maintenance longer than an HOA would so that will save money.
